Marc Gouran is a President of the Solomon Page Group LLC, a multi–specialty retained executive search firm with corporate headquarters in New York City. Marc is the founder, architect and general manager of the Healthcare business which he started in 1992 and which has grown to three offices nationally. Headquarters is in New York City, NY and the other offices are located in San Diego, CA, and King of Prussia, PA. There are a total of ten senior consultants in the group, and several research and support personnel in the three locations and working virtually for a total unit of twenty two employees. The division specializes primarily in retained senior executive search in the managed healthcare industry; hospitals and other providers; group insurance, employee benefits consulting and life sciences including pharmaceuticals, biotech, diagnostics and medical device. The unit works in virtually all functional areas with specific consultants having subject matter expertise in particular disciplines. The client list includes large group insurance carriers, Blue Cross Plans, HMO’s, Employee Benefits Consulting firms as well as pharmaceutical and biotech companies and other Healthcare Services companies and institutions of all types. The Division has broad, global experience and, according to the annual Modern Healthcare magazine’s healthcare search firm rankings is a top ten company. Marc has personally conducted hundreds of senior executive search projects including CEO’s and Presidents, other C–level positions, regional executives and top managers in most functional areas in all geographic areas of the country and is considered one of the top executive search consultants in the industry. He fosters a heavily team driven environment within the group which has resulted in the long term tenure of consultants and staff, as well as well a single minded focus on providing unmatched service and consulting to clients in the healthcare and insurance space globally. Prior to Solomon Page, Marc was a Managing Director of the Healthcare Division of The DLR Group for two years, and prior to that was a Managing Director of D.J. Hertz and Associates for two years running their Healthcare Division. Both companies were boutique retained executive search firms. He has a total of over twenty years experience in the healthcare executive search and consulting business. He writes about, and speaks at regional and national forums, on global healthcare recruiting and health policy issues. Prior to his executive search experience, he worked in the investment banking and brokerage business, as a Financial Consultant with Lehman Brothers in New York City. He lives with his family in Westchester County, New York. |
